How we deliver
From site survey to system handover — fully managed
Every Solar PV and ASHP project follows a disciplined end-to-end process — designed to ensure the right system is specified, installed correctly, and performing as expected from day one.
Site survey & fabric-first assessment
Before any system is specified, our assessors carry out a full property survey — capturing roof condition, orientation, shading, insulation levels, heating demand, and occupancy. For ASHP, we confirm the property is fabric-ready before proceeding. For Solar PV, we conduct shading analysis and structural assessment.
System design & yield / performance modelling
Our in-house design team produces a fully specified system drawing — Solar PV array layout with yield projections, or ASHP design with heat distribution schematics. Battery sizing, inverter selection, and tariff optimisation are all built into the Solar PV design. ASHP designs include emitter sizing and zoning.
Finance & funding structuring
We structure the right funding option for each client — outright purchase, green asset finance, Power Purchase Agreement (zero capital, share of generation savings), Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant (£7,500 for ASHP), ECO4, or Salix. We manage all funding applications and agreements on your behalf.
DNO, grid connection & pre-installation approvals
We manage all Distribution Network Operator (DNO) applications, grid connection agreements, and G98/G99 notifications on your behalf. Building regulations notifications, party wall agreements where required, and planning applications for systems needing consent are all handled by our team.
MCS-certified installation & commissioning
All systems installed by MCS-certified engineers to PAS 2030:2023 standard. Solar PV installations include full cable management, inverter commissioning, battery integration, and generation meter installation. ASHP installations include full pipework, cylinder, controls, and commissioning — with flue and heat distribution completed in-house.
Handover, monitoring & ongoing O&M
On completion, we register every system with MCS, update the EPC, register for Smart Export Guarantee, and provide full homeowner or tenant handover. Performance monitoring via app or dashboard is set up at handover. Annual service contracts and reactive maintenance are available under our O&M offering.
Zero Capex Option
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
No upfront cost. We fund, install, and maintain the system — you pay only for the electricity generated, at a rate below your grid tariff. Savings from day one, zero capital outlay.
ASHP Grant
Boiler Upgrade Scheme — £7,500
The UK government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides £7,500 toward the cost of an Air Source Heat Pump installation. We manage the application and apply the grant directly at point of purchase.
Funded Schemes
ECO4, Salix & Green Asset Finance
For social housing and commercial portfolios, we access ECO4, Salix, and green asset finance — funding renewable installations at portfolio scale, often at zero or minimal cost to the property owner.
