Jonathan Whittaker

B.Sc (Hons) · NDEA · OCDEA · CIOB · PAS 2035 Retrofit Coordinator

"As the retrofit market grows so does the opportunity in blended areas of surveying, financial modelling and cost saving measures. We are eager to work with like-minded businesses in areas of funding, installation, coordination, project management and testing."

Jonathan started working in the ECO industry in 2014 on the ECO1 scheme — the first iteration of the current government-backed programme. He has worked across many schemes and related areas: stock condition surveying, claims and disrepair, commercial energy, new build compliance, and testing.

His practice — Yield Climate Ltd t/a RetrofitScore & ViewPointEnergy — represents the largest and most successful local authority consortium scheme in the UK. Over the past four years the programme has secured over £50 million in funding and delivered more than 15,000 measures across 6,000 properties across Lancashire.

Prior to the ECO industry, Jonathan gained experience in the Actuarial Field in applied finance — giving him a unique commercial perspective on the retrofit market. In his spare time Jonathan likes to play golf, travel, and keeps a keen eye on financial markets.

Jonathan Whittaker — Founder & CEO, RetrofitScore

Fabric-first, always

We never install a heating system before insulation is confirmed. Fabric-first is how we protect every resident's long-term bills.

Standards are non-negotiable

PAS 2035, PAS 2030, TrustMark, MCS — every measure, every property, every time. No exceptions.

Residents first

Behind every measure is a person. Our engagement teams are trained to put residents first at every single stage.

Delivery that proves itself

15,000+ measures. Zero late submissions. We don't talk about capability — we demonstrate it through delivery.
