Commercial decarbonisation — from energy audit to net zero roadmap.
We combine mandatory compliance obligations — ESOS, SECR, MEES — with practical, funded decarbonisation delivery. Our commercial team manages every stage: assessment, design, certification, installation, and ongoing monitoring, under one coordinated programme.
Non-Domestic EPC & DEC assessment
Our accredited assessors produce Non-Domestic EPCs and Display Energy Certificates for all commercial property types — offices, schools, warehouses, retail units, hotels, and mixed-use portfolios. Assessments are carried out to the latest methodology, with full compliance documentation included.
ESOS & SECR compliance
We manage full ESOS Phase 3 audits and SECR reporting for qualifying organisations — identifying energy consumption, mapping significant energy uses, and producing compliant submissions to the Environment Agency. SECR reports prepared to Companies House requirements, with carbon footprint data embedded in annual reports.
MEES strategy & upgrade planning
We assess your commercial portfolio against current and forthcoming MEES regulations and produce a prioritised upgrade plan to achieve EPC Band E (current requirement) or Band B (2030 target). Every recommendation is costed and sequenced — fabric first, then heating and renewables — with finance options mapped alongside capital works.
Solar PV & Power Purchase Agreements
MCS-certified commercial Solar PV systems designed, installed, and managed in-house. We structure bespoke Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and green asset finance so buildings generate clean energy with zero upfront capital cost. Yield analysis, grid connection, and ongoing O&M managed end-to-end.
CCA & carbon reduction planning
We support energy-intensive businesses in accessing and maintaining Climate Change Agreements, securing significant CCL tax reductions. Alongside CCA management, we develop detailed Carbon Reduction Plans including Scope 2 and Scope 3 mapping — aligned to Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting requirements.
Ongoing monitoring & asset management
Post-installation performance tracking across your commercial portfolio — energy generation, consumption, and carbon output monitored continuously. Regular reporting to building owners and funders, with maintenance contracts covering Solar PV, HVAC, LED lighting, and all installed measures.
Current requirement
EPC Band B — whole portfolio
All commercial leases — new and existing — must now meet a minimum EPC Band E rating. Non-compliant landlords face penalties of up to £150,000 per property.
2027 milestone
EPC Band B — whole portfolio
Government proposals require new commercial leases to achieve Band C from 2027. Landlords who act now will avoid rushed compliance costs and protect asset values.
2030 target
EPC Band B — whole portfolio
By 2030, all commercial properties — including existing leases — are expected to reach Band B. A portfolio strategy planned and delivered today is far more cost-effective than reactive compliance.
